In the last few days, a number of people have been appearing on my Users List without my invitation. Because I do not know who they are, and their email addresses (or at least, a few of them) appear to be spam, I have, of course, deleted them all.
However, WordPress.org does have a category of user called ‘Subscriber’, which I assume to be the equivalent of a ‘follower’, which was much clearer on the sister site wordpress.com.
